Azuli Future Disco Release

Azuli’s excellent Future Disco CD comes with a booklet including a couple of my photos from London’s thriving disco scene. Hunt it down.

Iggi

A quick micropublishing hack for BigShinyThing. Takes a friendfeed lifestream, and takes certain categories of entry and auto-twitters them. Twitter and FF are increasingly important to us as distribution…

Film Noir, Friday 20th February 2009

Film Noir superstars Helen Noir, Severino (Horse Meat Disco), Nando Messias, Ingenue St. John, A Man Da Pet and Dickie Beau hosted downstairs at the Horse and Groom. Photos here.

Disco Bloodbath 7 February 2009

The DBB crew brought their underground Disco crew to Aldgate on Saturday for a packed night. Some pix here, but my lens froze up a couple of hours in (what is it with me and camera gear failures at the moment?), so far fewer than there should be. Sigh.

Slave to Fashion

We dropped into Slave to Fashion at BBB last night, on our way to Gutterslut (where someone knocked a pint of beer onto my flash battery and shorted it out, so no photos from Images!). Russella and Ryan Styles were hosting. Pix here.

WLTF #3

Nice to see that some of my photos have made it into the third online issue of WLTF (“a magazine for discerning voyeurs”). I’m especially happy that they chose to feature this one, of a frozen fox drifting in the slow tide under the ice of the Regent’s Canal.

Gay Bingo afterparty

‘Somewhere north of the junction’ in Dalston — or should that be Shacklewell? — the Gay Bingo crew gathered for some fun after last weekend’s event at the ICA. Pix here.

London Disco Flickr Group

For any of you who are on Flickr and take photos at Horse Meat Disco, Disco Bloodbath and the other disco-centric clubs, I’ve set up a new Flickr group — Once and Future Disco, as a place to save and discuss those nights, people and pictures. Enjoy.

New Year’s Eve 2008

Some photos from Horse Meat Disco’s party at Cargo, and Gutterslut‘s night at Ghetto. Both great nights, and great to see everyone out and celebrating the New Year.
